Baghdad, /16/ people were killed and 31 others were missing, in an explosion in a mine in Kazakhstan.
ArcelorMittal Terretau announced that 252 people were in the mine at the time of the accident, which, according to preliminary information, was caused by a methane gas explosion.
The company's press office stated: "16 people were killed in the explosion, and the search is continuing for 31 others," while local media announced that 11 people were killed and 18 others were transferred to hospitals.
