155 people died as a result of a heat wave that struck Mexico

Mexico has recorded 155 deaths as a result of high temperatures since last March, including 30 cases last week. The Mexican Ministry of Health stated in its weekly report that at least 2,567 people have suffered from a health problem related to high temperatures since March 17, warning that most regions will continue to face high temperatures. Ten Mexican cities broke records for high temperatures last May, with the highest temperature ever recorded in Mexico City on the 25th of the same month.
