Baghdad, Ten people from the family of Ismail Haniyeh, head of the political bureau of the Islamic Resistance Movement (Hamas), including his sister, were martyred in an Israeli bombing that targeted their house in al-Shati camp, west of Gaza, last night. Palestinian media reported that a number of Haniyeh family members who were in the house are still under the rubble, and confirmed that most of the martyrs who died in the Israeli raid were women. Al-Jazeera reported from its correspondent in Gaza that the attempt to search for survivors was continuing, suggesting that the number of martyrs in the raid that targeted Haniyeh's house would likely rise. Since last night, the occupation army has intensified its raids on Al-Shati camp, and also targeted a shelter school belonging to the United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees (UNRWA), leading to the death of dozens, including children. Three of the sons of the head of the Hamas political bureau and a number of his grandchildren were mart yred in an Israeli raid on a civilian car in the Beach Camp in Gaza City on April 10. The occupation army claimed at the time that it had assassinated Haniyeh's sons because 'they were on their way to carry out an attack.' The toll of the Israeli aggression on the Gaza Strip since the seventh of last October has risen to 37,626 martyrs, and 86,098 wounded, most of whom are children and women.
