German police said that one person was killed Wednesday after a hotel partially collapsed in the German state of Rhineland-Palatinate, while eight others are still under the rubble, some of them seriously injured. Rescue operations are underway at the scene of the accident, in the town of Krov on the Moselle River. People were able to leave the building on their own and are now under the care of emergency services, police added.
