One person was killed and two others were injured in a wave of Israeli air raids targeting several areas across southern Lebanon. The Lebanese Ministry of Public Health said in a statement that an Israeli drone strike on a car in the town of Khiam killed one person. The series of Israeli raids also injured two other people, the ministry added. The Israeli warplanes launched Sunday a series of raids targeting Qal'at al-Shaqif area towards the river, Zawtar, and the outskirts of Ain Qana, Kfar Fila, Louaizeh, Bouslaiya, and Kfar Melki in southern Lebanon. The raids also targeted the Bir Kallab area in Jabal al-Rayhan, and the outskirts of the towns of Sajd, Kfar Fila, and Sarba. Southern Lebanon has experienced a dangerous escalation since the start of the Israeli aggression on the Gaza Strip on Oct. 7, 2023.
