One militant of Al-Qaeda-linked Al-Shabaab movement was killed in an operation carried out by the Somali army forces in the Goloyne area of Lower Shabelle Governorate on Saturday night. Somali National News Agency (SONNA) reported that the army carried out a security operation targeting the armed element at his place of residence. The Somali army has intensified military operations against Al-Shabaab movement in recent days.
