Zarqa Governor Firas Abu Qaoud received the Algerian Ambassador to Jordan, Abdulkarim Behha, on Tuesday about ways of enhancing joint cooperation and promoting trade, cultural, and economic exchange between the two countries. Abu Qaoud lauded ties with Algeria and emphasized common issues that unite their leaders. The governor explained the socio-economic landscape and the competitive advantages of Zarqa governorate, northeast of Amman, due to the availability of infrastructure, road networks, qualified labor, and the governorate's proximity to Amman. For his part, the Algerian envoy said that there is continuous work to promote bilateral relations, the foremost of which is the unity of position towards the aggression on the Gaza Strip and efforts to stop this brutal aggression, lauding the positions of His Majesty King Abdullah towards the Palestinian cause and his efforts to stop this aggression on the Palestinians in the Gaza Strip.
