HEBRON: A Palestinian young man was killed this evening after being shot by Israeli occupation forces in the southern area of Hebron, south of the occupied West Bank. The Ministry of Health, citing the General Authority for Civil Affairs, confirmed the death of Salah Ziad Shawahin, 23, following his injury from live ammunition fired by Israeli troops south of the city. Local sources reported that Israeli forces opened fire on Shawahin, who was subsequently injured and detained. He was later pronounced dead as a result of his injuries. This incident adds to the ongoing tensions in the region and raises concerns over the use of force by Israeli occupation forces in areas with civilian population.
