Yatta: A young Palestinian man was shot with live bullets and several others were injured with bruises on Saturday evening during attacks by Israeli colonists in the Yatta area, south of Hebron.
According to Palestine News and Information Agency - WAFA, anti-colonization activist Osama Makhamra reported that colonists, protected by Israeli forces, attacked the village of Al-Zawidein near the town of Yatta. The attackers fired live bullets that wounded a young man in his leg, while several other residents sustained bruises and contusions from physical assaults.
Makhamra further noted that Israeli soldiers surrounded the village, preventing medical teams from entering and detaining a number of residents for on-site questioning.
The colonists also raided the village of Shaab Al-Butm, attempting to steal sheep belonging to local resident Ishaq Al-Jabareen. They additionally attacked homes in the neighboring hamlet of Haribat Al-Nabi, but residents confronted them.
