Yemen's caretaker Foreign Minister Hisham Sharaf Abdullah has condemned the assassination of Ismail Haniyeh, the head of Hamas's Political Bureau, in a message to Iran's Acting Foreign Minister Dr. Ali Bagheri. The attack, which occurred in Tehran following Haniyeh's participation in President Masoud Pezeshkan's inauguration, has been denounced as an act of state terrorism by the Zionist entity. Sharaf criticized the assassination as part of a broader strategy to destabilize the resistance axis, which includes Iran, Palestine, Lebanon, Iraq, and Yemen. He warned that this act aims to provoke a regional conflict that would ultimately benefit the aggressor. Sharaf reaffirmed Yemen's commitment to confronting Zionist aggression and supporting the resistance axis, aligning with the sentiments of Yemeni leader Abdul-Malik Badr al-Din al-Houthi.
