While Israel is seizing the Palestinian funds, extremist Israeli Finance Minister, Bezalel Smotrich, wants to allocate millions of dollars in the 2023 budget to entrench colonization in the Palestinian territories, today said the official presidential spokesman, Nabil Abu Rudeineh. He said in a statement that this proposal comes within the framework of the comprehensive war waged by the Israeli occupation authorities against the Palestinian people, their land, and their sanctities in the Gaza Strip and the West Bank, including Jerusalem. Abu Rudeineh said that this proposal comes at a time when Israel is withholding Palestinian clearance funds and continuing its genocidal war against the Palestinian people in the Gaza Strip and in the West Bank. The presidential spokesman warned of the repercussions of this dangerous Israeli announcement on the security and stability of the region, calling on the US administration to intervene urgently and put pressure on the Israeli government to ensure that it is not im plemented, and to release Palestinian funds held by the occupying state. 'They are seizing our money and transferring it to steal Palestinian land through internationally condemned and illegal colonization according to all international legitimacy resolutions, especially Resolution 2334,' said Abu Rudeineh.
