RAMALLAH: Weather on Monday is expected to be partly cloudy to cloudy with a drop in temperature as the country experiences unstable weather conditions with rain forecasted across various regions, according to the Palestinian Meteorological Department (PMD). It said that rain intensity is expected to increase in the evening and night hours, accompanied by thunderstorms and occasional hailstorums. On Tuesday, the country is likely to will be affected by a low-pressure system accompanied by a cold air mass, resulting in another significant drop in temperatures, around 5 degrees Celsius below the annual average. Heavy rainfall is anticipated, accompanied by thunderstorms and occasional hailstorms. Weather on Wednesday is expected to be cloudy to partly cloudy, with scattered showers across different regions. Rainfall chances will diminish in the evening and night hours, while temperatures are expected to rise slightly, remaining about 2 degrees Celsius below the annual average. People are warned about the ri sk of floods and flash floods in valleys and low-lying areas, strong winds, slippery roads, and reduced horizontal visibility.
