RAMALLAH: Weather today in Palestine is partly cloudy to clear with no change in temperature, according to the Palestine Meteorological Department (PMD). Winds are easterly northwesterly, light to moderate, and sea waves are low. A rise in temperature is expected on Thursday, yet cold conditions continue, said the PMD. On Friday, a low-pressure front is expected to affect the country, bringing down the temperature. Rain and thunderstorms are also expected in most areas. Civil defense personnel raced to the scene as soon as the Jerash Police Directorate's operations department received a report of a fire inside a bakery in the town of Souf (northern Jordan). The fire was triggered by a gas cylinder explosion, which caused one fatality and property damage, a source in the Public Security Department (PSD) told the Jordan News Agency (Petra).
