Vice President Al Sheikh and Qatari PM Discuss Regional Escalation and Palestinian Developments

Doha: Palestinian Vice President Hussein al-Sheikh discussed on Tuesday with Qatari Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman Al Thani, the latest developments in the region.

According to Palestine News and Information Agency - WAFA, during the phone call, both officials addressed the escalation in the region, including the Israeli escalation in the West Bank and Gaza Strip. They also discussed continued regional and international coordination, emphasizing the importance of a unified Arab stance and fraternal solidarity in confronting the challenges facing the region in general, and the Arab states in particular.

Al-Sheikh expressed his appreciation for Qatar's stance, led by Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani, regarding the Palestinian cause and the inalienable rights of the Palestinian people. The Qatari Prime Minister affirmed that the Palestinian cause will remain a top priority for Qatar, despite ongoing developments in the region.
