Salfit: The Israeli occupation forces continued besieging the village of Marda, north of Salfit, for the fourth consecutive day on Wednesday. Local residents are facing significant disruptions as the military presence remains strong, affecting daily life and mobility.
According to Palestine News and Information Agency - WAFA, the occupation forces have closed the two main entrances to the village, preventing citizens from entering or exiting in their vehicles. The blockade has forced villagers to seek alternative routes, only to be pursued by the forces, who seize any vehicle attempting to bypass the restrictions through dirt side roads.
Marda has been subjected to repeated hostilities by the occupation forces. Incidents of closing main and side entrances, house raids, and assaults on citizens have been reported, creating an atmosphere of tension and insecurity in the village.
