US President Trump Arrives in Saudi Arabia on Official Visit

Riyadh: US President Donald Trump is scheduled to arrive in Saudi Arabia shortly for his first foreign visit of his second term. He has previously made a brief visit to Rome to attend the funeral of Pope Francis.

According to Palestine News and Information Agency - WAFA, Trump's May 13-16 trip to Saudi Arabia, Qatar, and the UAE will involve busy diplomatic activity, with the president seeking to conclude trade deals. Several issues will be at the forefront of this visit, including regional security, energy, defense, and economic cooperation, as Washington aims to strengthen its strategic partnership with its Gulf partners amid rapidly changing international conditions.

Eight years ago, Trump also chose Saudi Arabia as the destination for his first foreign trip as president, highlighting the ongoing importance of the relationship between the two nations.
