Washington: Activists in the United States of America have called for a boycott of Black Friday this year, as part of popular and institutional attempts to pressure the US government to stop sending weapons, the latest of which was worth $680 million, and financial support to Israel to force it to stop the war of extermination against Palestinians. According to Palestine News and Information Agency - WAFA, activists have urged the public to refrain from shopping on the most important annual marketing day in America. The boycott aims to inflict financial losses on local companies that have significant influence over political decision-makers, thereby compelling them to pressure the administration of President Joe Biden. The activists demand an end to arms shipments and advocate for an immediate and comprehensive ceasefire, alongside the provision of essential food and aid to civilians, particularly in the northern regions of the Strip.
