GAZA: Nine civilians, mostly children, were killed and several others were wounded today in an Israeli drone shelling of the Bureij refugee camp in the center of the Gaza Strip. Local sources said the occupation warplanes targeted a gathering of civilians near the Abu Rasas roundabout in the Bureij camp, resulting in the killing of nine people, mostly children, and the injury of others. Earlier, three civilians were killed and others were injured in an Israeli bombardment of a group of civilians in the Tel al-Sultan neighborhood west of Rafah, in the southern Strip. Israeli Apache helicopters also opened fire on the western areas of Rafah. The number of civilians killed in Gaza since early morning today has so far reached 28. Dozens of were also wounded. The death toll of the Israeli aggression on the Gaza Strip, by land, sea and air, since October 7, 2023, has surged to more than 38,193, mostly women and children. Over 87,903 others have been wounded. Thousands of victims are still trapped under the ru bble. Casualty data in Gaza are incomplete due to the intensive Israeli aggression, the repeated and complete interruption of communication and internet services, lack of fuel and heavy machinery and the devastated infrastructure, which render it difficult to document figures.
