Post: UPDATE: Colonists Attack Palestinian Civilians, Vehicles, and Livestock in Multiple Incidents Across Jericho and Northern Jordan Valley

Jericho: Israeli colonists attacked on Monday Palestinian Bedouin citizens and shepherds near the village of Ein ad-Duyuk at-Tahta west of Jericho, and pelted their homes with stones, according to local sources.

According to Palestine News and Information Agency - WAFA, local sources reported that a number of colonists targeted Bedouin dwellings on a mountaintop in Ein ad-Duyuk at-Tahta by throwing stones at them. Fortunately, no injuries were reported during this incident.

Later in the evening, the violence escalated as Israeli colonists targeted Palestinian vehicles north of Jericho. Local sources indicated that colonists threw stones at civilian cars near Ein al-Auja, resulting in damage to at least one vehicle owned by a Palestinian citizen.

In a separate incident in the northern Jordan Valley, a Palestinian shepherd was attacked by colonists while grazing his cattle. Local sources revealed that the colonists assaulted a resident in the Jabaris area, stole two of his calves, and killed a third by running it over.

Violence by Israeli colonists against Palestinians and their properties has increased since October 7, 2023, garnering widespread international condemnation. In response, several countries have imposed sanctions on colonists accused of such attacks in the West Bank.
