Director of the Office of the United Nations Assistance Mission for Iraq (UNAMI) in Kirkuk, Bibi Lovoy, met with the Head of the Preparatory Committee of the Kirkuk branch of the Journalists Syndicate, Marwan Ibrahim Al-Ani. During the meeting, the prospects for cooperation between the United Nations and the Kirkuk branch of the Iraqi Journalists Syndicate were discussed, and it was agreed to hold future workshops in the fields of climate change, the use of clean energy, environmental protection, human rights, and the role and importance of journalism in supporting the democratic process and combating extremism.
