Gaza: The United Nations Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs (OCHA) stated that the living conditions in Gaza are extremely dire, with most residents displaced and facing ongoing health and environmental risks. Additionally, residential areas are continuously targeted by attacks.
According to Palestine News and Information Agency, a report issued by OCHA highlighted the challenges of transporting aid to Gaza. It noted that only half of the aid trucks from Egypt successfully unloaded their cargo at crossings controlled by Israel along the Gaza border during the first 10 days of May.
The World Health Organization estimates that over 43,000 individuals in Gaza have sustained life-changing injuries. Despite the growing need, rehabilitation services remain overwhelmed and unable to meet the demand.
In the West Bank, the report detailed that 45 Palestinian-owned structures were demolished by occupation forces between May 5 and 11. It also highlighted a significant rise in violence by colonists, with the monthly average of attacks causing injuries or property damage increasing fourteen-fold since 2020.
