Israel Issues Evacuation Warning for Several Villages in Southern Lebanon

Beirut: The Israeli occupation army issued an evacuation warning today for residents of the villages of Harouf, Burj al-Shamali, and Dabaal in southern Lebanon.

According to Palestine news and Information Agency, several villages were subjected to shelling by Israeli warplanes and artillery, resulting in damage to homes and infrastructure. This military activity coincided with the presence of Israeli drones in the skies over southern Lebanon, escalating tensions in the region.

Israeli warplanes and artillery targeted the towns of Doueir, Deir Amas, Harouf, Deir al-Zahrani, Majdal Selm, Tibnin, Kfar Tibnit, and Halta in southern Lebanon. These actions have raised concerns over the safety of civilians and the potential for further escalation.

The Lebanese Ministry of Health announced yesterday that the death toll from the Israeli aggression since March 2 until May 17 had risen to 2,988 martyrs and 9,210 wounded. The ongoing conflict continues to take a heavy toll on the civilian population and infrastructure in the affected areas.
