Gaza: Muhannad Hadi, Deputy Special Coordinator for the Middle East Peace Process, called Monday for the resumption of the entry of humanitarian aid into the Gaza Strip. In a press statement, Hadi noted that the entry of humanitarian aid into Gaza had been stopped for nine consecutive days.
According to Palestine News and Information Agency - WAFA, Hadi emphasized that humanitarian aid in Gaza is a lifeline for more than two million Palestinians who have been enduring difficult conditions for months. He pointed out that the continuous supply of aid is crucial for their survival.
Hadi stressed that international humanitarian law is explicit in stating that the basic needs of civilians must be met. This includes ensuring unrestricted access to and distribution of humanitarian aid.
