Doha: Umm Salal SC signed Khalifa Al Maliki to join the club's first football team starting next season. Al Maliki played for several Qatar Stars League (QSL) teams, the most recent of which were Al Arabi SC and Al Shamal SC. Al Shamal SC announced a few days ago the end of the player's loan and his return to Al Arabi SC. This marks the second deal made by Umm Salal SC in the current summer transfer period after Croatian player Antonio Mance of Hungary's Zalaegerszegi joined the team. After placing 7th in QSL 2023/24 (EXPO Stars League), Umm Salal SC is aiming to deliver a better result in QSL 2024/25 (Ooredoo Stars League). The club decided to hold its training for the next season in the Netherlands from July 17 to August 3. Source: Qatar News Agency
