The Ukrainian Foreign Minister, Dmitry Kuleba, announced today, Wednesday, in a conversation with the Chinese Foreign Minister, Wang Yi, the Ukrainian side's readiness to negotiate with Russia. Kuleba said, "The Ukrainian side is ready to conduct talks and negotiations with the Russian side, provided that the negotiations are rational and have practical importance, aiming to achieve a just and lasting peace," according to what was quoted by Chinese Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Mao Ning. For his part, Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi said that "the solution to all conflicts must be at the negotiating table." He added: "Russia and Ukraine have recently expressed their readiness for negotiations to varying degrees, and although the conditions and opportunities have not yet matured, we support all efforts that would contribute to achieving peace.
