Two Palestinian women were brutally murdered today in an Israeli airstrike which targeted the town of Al-Qarara, to the northeast of Khan Yunis in southern Gaza, said WAFA correspondent. The town is located south of Wadi Gaza, where Israel has been demanding Palestinians from the northern regions of the besieged enclave to evacuate, falsely claiming it was a safe zone. WAFA correspondent reported that Israeli warplanes targeted a house belonging to the Nujeli family in Al-Qarara, resulting in the tragic murder of at least two civilian women. Simultaneously, Israeli airstrikes targeted a civil defense team in the Maghazi refugee camp in central Gaza, injuring at least two staff members. The team was engaged in rescuing civilians trapped under the rubble of a bombed home. Medical sources in Gaza have announced that the death toll has risen to over 200 Palestinian casualties, after a seven-day humanitarian pause came to an end yesterday, with hundreds more sustaining injuries. Since the beginning of the Is raeli offensive on Gaza on October 7, over 15,500 Palestinians, including 6,150 children and more than 4,000 women, have been killed by Israeli aerial or artillery bombardment. Additionally, over 37,000 individuals have been wounded. Meantime, thousands of civilians remain unaccounted for, with fears mounting that many may have perished beneath the ruins of their homes. Despite continuous efforts by emergency and rescue teams, the retrieval of these individuals has proven challenging amid the severe shortage of civil defense equipment under Israel's relentless aggression on the enclave.
