Gaza: Two Palestinians were killed on Monday evening in Israeli strikes targeting the northern and central Gaza Strip, according to medical sources at Al-Shifa Hospital.
According to Palestine News and Information Agency - WAFA, the body of a slain civilian was brought to Al-Shifa Hospital after being killed in a missile strike near the Hira mosque in Jabalia al-Balad, in the northern Gaza Strip. Meanwhile, medical sources at Al-Aqsa Martyrs Hospital in Deir al-Balah reported that another civilian was killed in an Israeli strike in the al-Heker area, south of Deir al-Balah.
This incident adds to the growing death toll in the Gaza Strip, which has reached 73,329. The number of casualties has risen to 174,009 since the onset of the aggression on October 7, 2023. In the last 24 hours alone, three slain Palestinians and 12 casualties have been admitted to Gaza hospitals.
Since the Gaza ceasefire agreement went into effect on October 11, 2025, Israel has killed 1,203 Palestinians and injured 3,900 others. The aggression has also led to the displacement of nearly two million people from across the Gaza Strip, with most being forced into the southern city of Rafah near the Egyptian border, marking the largest mass exodus since the 1948 Nakba.
