Two medical camps organized by the Interior's Human and Financial Resources Sector Ministry, represented by the Model Police and General Police Hospitals, concluded on Wednesday in Bani Al-Harith district of Capital Secretariat. In cooperation with the Health and Environment Ministry and the Higher Authority for Medicines and Medical Supplies, the camps aimed to treat poor and needy patients in the specialties of internal medicine, children, women, obstetrics and gynecology, urology, bowel surgery and dermatology, as well as conducting examinations, modern X-ray equipment and providing a central pharmacy, under the supervision of specialized consultant doctors. He praised the efforts of those in charge of the two medical camps and the role of the medical staff at the Model Police and General Police Hospitals in treating the poorest cases, conducting examinations, x-rays, providing the necessary medicines, and performing operations free of charge. At the closing ceremony, attended by the Ministry of Interio r's Directors of Projects, Brigadier General Mohammed Shabab and Human Resources, Brigadier General Adnan Qafla, the Director of the Model Police Hospital, Brigadier General Fahd Al-Madoumi, stressed the importance of the second medical camp organized by the Model Police Hospital in Bani Hawat's Airport district under the slogan "Police at the people service ." For his part, the director of the General Police Hospital said that the medical camp organized by the hospital in Al-Hama neighborhood in Bani Al-Harith district received 4,000 patients in all medical specialties and performed 60 surgeries during the camp period. He called on all government and private hospitals to adopt such free medical camps to alleviate the suffering of patients, help the poor and needy, and follow the example of the Prophet's example of caring for the poor, and orphans.
