Two Civilians Killed in Israeli Shelling of Tent Northwest of Gaza’s Khan Yunis

Gaza City: Two civilians were killed and several others were injured on Sunday in an Israeli shelling targeting a tent in Hamad Residential City, northwest of Khan Yunis, in the southern besieged Gaza Strip.

According to Palestine News and Information Agency - WAFA, since the early hours of Sunday, the ongoing Israeli airstrikes have targeted the southern Gaza Strip, particularly the Rafah and Khan Yunis districts, resulting in the killing and wounding of dozens of civilians.

Health sources report that the total number of civilians killed in the ongoing Israeli aggression on Gaza has risen to 50,021 since October 7, 2023. Over 113,274 others have also been injured.

The sources also confirmed that many civilians remain trapped under the rubble of destroyed homes and buildings, as emergency and rescue teams face immense challenges in reaching them.
