The Turkish Ministry of Defense announced the destruction of 37 sites of the Kurdistan Workers' Party (PKK) in northern Iraq. The Turkish Defense Ministry stated in a statement that yesterday, Wednesday, Turkish fighter aircraft launched a series of air strikes on sites belonging to the Kurdistan Workers' Party in the areas of Gara, Hakurk, Qandil, and Assos in northern Iraq. The Turkish Defense Ministry indicated in its statement that the air strikes resulted in the destruction of 37 targets that included shelters, caves and warehouses used by the organization in its attacks on Turkish army positions stationed in northern Iraq.
