Tunisia Condemns Israeli Plan to Reoccupy Gaza Strip

Tunis: Tunisia has expressed strong condemnation of Israel's decision to reoccupy the Gaza Strip, describing it as a violation of international laws and the Palestinian people's right to self-determination. The move involves displacing inhabitants and confining them to a restricted area within Gaza, which Tunisia views as an attempt to undermine Palestinian rights and force them from their land.

According to Palestine News and Information Agency - WAFA, Tunisia criticized the plan as a continuation of the occupation's disregard for international norms and human rights. The statement highlighted the increasing severity of these actions, calling on global powers, the United Nations, and particularly the Security Council to take decisive action against what it described as genocide and to protect the Palestinian people.

Tunisia reiterated its unwavering support for the Palestinian struggle to reclaim their rights and endorsed the establishment of an independent Palestinian state with East Jerusalem as its capital.
