Jerusalem - Ma'an - The blessed Al-Aqsa Mosque witnessed, on Wednesday, wide-scale incursions and public prayers, on the "first day of the Hebrew month." 514 settlers stormed Al-Aqsa Mosque during the morning and afternoon storming periods, under the protection of the occupation forces, through the Mughrabi Gate, whose keys have been controlled by the occupation authorities since the occupation of Jerusalem. Through it, Al-Aqsa is stormed daily, except for Fridays and Saturdays, holidays and religious occasions. The 'alleged Temple groups' exploit their various holidays and special occasions to storm Al-Aqsa in large numbers, as happened today, which coincides with the 'beginning of the Hebrew month.' The settlers performed their public and collective prayers in Al-Aqsa Mosque during the storming; one of the rabbis blew the trumpet, while the settlers danced, sang and prostrated themselves on the ground in the eastern area of ??Al-Aqsa, and they also walked and sang in the courtyards of Al-Aqsa. The police provided protection for the settlers who stormed Al-Aqsa Mosque, and tightened restrictions at its gates, preventing young men and women from entering or seizing their IDs before allowing them to enter Al-Aqsa. Inside Al-Aqsa, special forces were present in several areas, especially the settlers' path, and the forces determined where the worshipers would sit. During the last few weeks, 'since mid-August,' the settlers have been performing full daily prayers at Al-Aqsa. The settlers confirmed through their various platforms that their prayers 'at the Temple Mount' have become permissible without any arrest or prosecution. This comes in line with the announcement by the Minister of National Security, Itamar Ben-Gvir, of his intention to build a synagogue at Al-Aqsa. Source: Maan News Agency
