The Kenyan delegation, consisting of tourism and travel agencies, representatives of the health sector and the Kenyan press, began their visit to the Kingdom on June 4, and visited Jerash, Madaba and Christian pilgrimage sites, starting with the baptism site, the baptism of Jesus, peace be upon him, Mount Nebo and Mar Elias Hill. They prayed at the Church of Our Lady of the Mountain, visited the Dead Sea, Aqaba, Petra and Wadi Rum, and inspected the services provided to tourists and hotels. The delegation representing the health sector made field visits to several hospitals and health facilities in the Amman and met with representatives of the health sector from the Jordanian side to discuss benefiting from Jordan's advanced expertise in the medical field, the facilities, expertise, doctors and modern technologies, as well as costs compared to the countries that attract Kenyan patients. For their part, the Kenyan delegation thanked Minister Al-Qaisi for the warm reception, praising the staff of the Jordan Tourism Board (JTB), who accompanied the delegation and contributed to the success of this visit.
