Gaza: Three Palestinian citizens were killed and others wounded on Thursday when an Israeli drone bombed the town of Az-Zawayda in the central Gaza Strip.
According to Palestine News and Information Agency - WAFA, the attack specifically targeted a group of citizens who were at a charitable food pantry in the town of Az-Zawayda. The strike resulted in the tragic loss of life and further exacerbated the ongoing crisis in the region.
In addition to the casualties in Az-Zawayda, another citizen was killed due to Israeli shelling in the city of Deir al-Balah, also located in the central Gaza Strip. These incidents add to the mounting toll of civilian casualties in the area.
Medical sources have reported that 30 citizens have been killed in Israeli airstrikes on the Gaza Strip since dawn today. The overall death toll in the Gaza Strip has now climbed to 51,355, with the number of wounded reaching 117,248 since the start of the aggression on October 7, 2023.
