US administration officials expected today, Monday, that Tel Aviv would respond to the recent Iranian missile attack, during the coming period, despite Washington's rejection of this move. According to the American newspaper WALL STREET JOURNAL, Biden asked Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu to be patient and not rush to respond to the Iranian attack, to avoid any sudden escalation in the region, assuring Netanyahu that Washington will not participate in any Israeli attack on Iran, and it is even considering the option of forming a diplomatic front to try to prevent the Israeli counter-attack, the aim of which is to spare the Middle East region from any sudden and uncalculated military escalation.
