Baghdad: The Sunni Endowment Office announced today, Saturday, its rejection of the offensive statements made by a representative in the US Congress against the Chairman of the Supreme Judicial Council, Judge Faiq Zaidan. The head of the Sunni Endowment, Mishaan Al-Khazraji, said in a statement: 'We followed the offensive statements issued by US Congressman Mike Waltz against the head of the Iraqi Supreme Judicial Council, Faiq Zaidan, in an attempt to attack national symbols in the Republic of Iraq, to achieve political goals and gains.' He added, "We, in the Sunni Endowment Office, declare our complete rejection of the false allegations and outrageous statements against the top of the Iraqi judicial pyramid. We call on the Iraqi government to take the necessary measures and decisive legal steps to prevent attacks on the sovereignty of the Iraqi state and prevent harm to internal affairs."
