Baghdad, The UN Security Council will hold a meeting tomorrow, Monday, to decide on the full membership of the State of Palestine in the United Nations, under the title 'Accepting the membership of new members.' The State of Palestine sent a message to the Security Council and the Secretary-General of the United Nations in this regard, which was supported by the Arab Group, the Organization of the Islamic Conference, and the Organization of Non-Aligned Countries. The State of Palestine currently enjoys the status of an 'observer state, as the observer member is not entitled to vote on resolutions adopted by the General Assembly, nor to compete for non-permanent membership in the Security Council.'
