The President of the Republic, Dr. Abdul Latif Jamal Rashid, received today, Sunday, at the Baghdad Palace, the Czech Ambassador to Iraq, Peter Stipanek, on the occasion of the end of his term. During the meeting, according to a presidential statement, the President of the Republic praised the Ambassador's efforts during his term in strengthening the existing relations between the two countries, wishing him success in his upcoming tasks. He also indicated that Iraq looks forward to building strong relations in various fields in a way that achieves the mutual interests of the two countries and peoples and enhances security and stability in the region and the world. For his part, Ambassador Peter Stipanek expressed his country's commitment to supporting the security and stability of Iraq and the safety of its citizens, and developing bilateral relations in areas of common interest.
