The office of the supreme religious authority, Ayatollah Sayyed Ali al-Sistani, offered his condolences on the martyrdom of Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah. The office said in a statement: Martyr Nasrallah was a model leader that has been unparalleled in recent decades. The office added: Martyr Nasrallah played a distinguished role in the victory over the Israeli occupation by liberating Lebanese lands and supported the Iraqis with everything he could in liberating their country from ISIS terrorists. The office of Sayyed al-Sistani explained that Martyr Nasrallah took great positions in supporting the oppressed Palestinian people until he paid his precious life as a price for that.
