The Iraqi-Emirati Committee holds a meeting to activate memorandums of understanding between the two countries

The Iraqi-Emirati Relations Committee held its periodic meeting at the headquarters of the Ministry of Finance, headed by Undersecretary Masoud Haidar, with the membership of a number of Advisors and Directors General.

The Ministry said in a statement today: “During the meeting, they discussed activating the memorandums of understanding signed between the two parties, and emphasizing the need to intensify the meetings of the joint committee and search for more mechanisms and ways aimed at enhancing trade exchange and developing commercial relations in a way that serves the interests of the two brotherly peoples.”

The Undersecretary of the Ministry praised the work of the committee, most notably the agreements and memorandums of understanding that were signed between the two countries in various fields, which confirm the keenness and seriousness of the two sides to strengthen and develop bilateral relations, while stressing at the same time the importance of following up on the implementation of the recommendations of the committee and following up the signing of the most prominent economic agreements./ End
