The technical and engineering staff of the Iraqi Drilling Company has completed drilling two oil wells in the East Baghdad South field and the South Bazargan field. The Deputy Director General of the Iraqi Drilling Company, Engineer Kadhem Habash Khaleif, said that the company continues to implement its ambitious plans using advanced drilling technologies and adhering to the timetables that were previously set. He pointed out that the company's staff has completed drilling a well in the East Baghdad South field at a depth of 3749 meters, within the contract concluded with the Chinese company EBS to drill 27 oil wells in the field, in cooperation with COSL to provide technical services, adding that another well was drilled in the South Bazargan field in Maysan Governorate, at a depth of 4072 meters, within the contract concluded with the Chinese company CNOOC.
