The Head of the Iraqi Turkmen Front and the Head of the National Wisdom Movement discuss political developments

The Head of the Iraqi Turkmen Front, head of the Unified Iraqi Turkmen Front list, Hassan Turan, met with the Head of the National Wisdom Movement, Ammar al-Hakim, today, Monday, in the capital, Baghdad. During the meeting, which was attended by Faryad Tuzlu, head of the Turkmen Loyalty Movement, political developments at the national level were reviewed, files and issues of common interest were discussed, and the emphasis was placed on strengthening the partnership and meeting the needs and aspirations of the Iraqi people. During the meeting, the latest developments regarding the formation of the local government in Kirkuk were discussed, and Turan presented a summary of the Turkmen initiative, which includes the implementation of joint management and rotation of senior positions, giving utmost importance to the services and projects file, and maintaining the security and stability of the governorate federally, and that the Turkmen component is always ready to form a local government that expresses the asp irations of the people of Kirkuk.
