Ramallah - Ma'an - The Commander of the Customs Police Service, Major General Iyad Barakat, concluded an important working visit in Trkiye that lasted several days. Barakat met with the Director General of Turkish Customs, Mr. Rajab Kaushal, his deputy, Mr. Yashar Baltji, and the directors of the central departments of Customs. The visit continued for several days and included several activities aimed at enhancing cooperation and exchanging experiences between the two agencies. During the visit, the Commander of the Service, Major General Barakat, visited various departments and sections of the Turkish Customs, where working sessions and meetings were organized to exchange experiences and information in the field of training and capacity development. During these sessions, the focus was on modern techniques and practices in the field of training. Visits were also organized to the central rooms of customs operations, where experiences were exchanged regarding customs procedures and joint customs investigati ons, and the importance of strengthening bilateral cooperation and developing relations between the two agencies to combat smuggling and enhance customs security was emphasized.
