The Anti-Terrorism Agency announced the arrest of 147 wanted persons, in cooperation with the Kurdistan Region Anti-Terrorism Agency.
The Agency stated in a statement that the high-level coordination between the Anti-Terrorism Agency and the security forces in the Kurdistan region (Directorate of Anti-Terrorism of Erbil, Directorate of Anti-Terrorism of Sulaymaniyah, Anti-Terrorism Regiment of Sulaymaniyah) resulted in many successful operations based on accurate security and intelligence information, which contributed to tracking Remnants of ISIS gangs and the elimination of it and the arrest of 147 wanted.
He added: This coordination came within the framework of the strategy followed by the Anti-terrorism Agency, regarding the need to unify the security effort in order to clamp down on ISIS gangs and facilitate the process of monitoring and tracking them.
