Ten Palestinians Killed in Israeli Airstrike in Gaza City

Gaza City: At least ten Palestinians were killed this afternoon in an Israeli airstrike targeting a vehicle near Al-Saraya Junction in central Gaza City, according to local sources.

According to Palestine News and Information Agency - WAFA, WAFA correspondents reported that an Israeli warplane struck a civilian vehicle at the busy intersection, resulting in the killing of ten people and injuring several others, some critically.

In a separate attack, Israeli artillery also shelled areas east of Deir al-Balah in the central Gaza Strip. No immediate reports on casualties from that shelling have been confirmed.

The ongoing Israeli aggression on Gaza since October 2023 has so far resulted in at least 54,249 documented Palestinian fatalities, with over 123,492 others injured.

Thousands of victims are feared trapped under rubble, inaccessible to emergency and civil defense teams due to Israeli attacks.

Israel's attacks continue unabated despite calls from the UN Security Council for an immediate ceasefire and directives from the International Court of Justice urging measures to prevent genocide and alleviate the dire humanitarian situation in Gaza.
