Ramallah: Three Palestinians were injured on Thursday during an Israeli occupation forces raid on the village of Al-Mughayyir, northeast of Ramallah. The incident adds to the ongoing tensions in the region, highlighting the fragile security situation.
According to Palestine News and Information Agency - WAFA, the Palestinian Red Crescent Society reported that its crews responded to multiple injuries during the raid. A child was injured by a rubber-coated metal bullet to the neck, a 55-year-old man sustained an injury to the hand from a similar bullet, and a 75-year-old woman was assaulted, necessitating hospital treatment.
In addition to the physical injuries, the occupation forces demolished the home of Anwar Samih al-Na'san. His family was forced to evacuate, and the garden belonging to the village council was bulldozed, further intensifying the distress among the local population.
The village of Al-Mughayyir has experienced repeated attacks by colonists. These attacks have included setting fire to wheat-planted land in the "Rafid Plain" and assaults on farmers and harvesters while they worked on their lands, contributing to the ongoing unrest and insecurity in the area.
