Qabatiya: A Palestinian teen Monday evening sustained an injury from Israeli army gunfire in Qabatiya town, south of the occupied West Bank city of Jenin, according to the Palestinian Red Crescent Society (PRCS).

According to Palestine News and Information Agency - WAFA, the PRCS reported that a 17-year-old teenager was injured in the abdomen by live ammunition fired by Israeli occupation forces in the town. The injured teen was quickly transported to a hospital for medical treatment.

The occupation forces have been conducting an ongoing operation in Qabatiya for the second consecutive day. The military activities included house-to-house raids, forcibly removing families at gunpoint, and converting rooftops into observation points for snipers. The forces also carried out a large-scale detention campaign, during which bulldozers caused extensive damage to the town's infrastructure.
