Extremist Israeli Colonists Steal Residential Tent in Northern Jordan Valley

Humsa: Extremist Israeli colonists at night stole a residential tent and its contents in Humsa in the northern Jordan Valley. The incident marks another episode of tension in the region as local residents face increasing acts of theft and vandalism.

According to Palestine News and Information Agency - WAFA, the settlement file official in Tubas Governorate, Moataz Basharat, reported that a group of Israeli colonists stole an uninhabited residential tent, a water tank, and other contents belonging to a local resident. This theft highlights ongoing challenges faced by communities in the area.

Last month, colonists carried out 318 acts of vandalism and theft of citizens' properties, which affected large areas of land. This spree resulted in the uprooting of 969 trees, including 960 olive trees. Specifically, 350 trees were uprooted in the Hebron governorate, 328 in Bethlehem, 160 in Salfit, 100 in Nablus, and 31 in Ramallah. These actions have intensified the strain on local communities and raised concerns over property security and agricultural sustainability.
