Bern: The Swiss Ministry of Foreign Affairs has expressed deep concern over the increasing violence committed by Israeli settlers against Palestinians in the occupied West Bank.
According to Palestine News and Information Agency - WAFA, the Swiss Foreign Ministry issued a press statement condemning the burning of Palestinian property by settlers. The statement read, "Switzerland is deeply concerned about the escalating violence of Israeli settlers against Palestinians in the West Bank."
Switzerland has called for an immediate halt to such violence, as well as the ongoing expansion of illegal settlements. The Swiss government has urged Israel to "honor its obligations under international law and preserve the possibility of a two-state solution to ensure lasting security and peace."
