Jerusalem: Switzerland slammed the Israeli authorities' decision to proceed with the settlement plan in the area known as "E1" in the West Bank, emphasizing that such policies violate international law and undermines the prospects for a two-state solution.
According to Palestine News and Information Agency - WAFA, in a statement issued last night via X, the Swiss Foreign Ministry affirmed its rejection of the announcement of the construction of thousands of settlement units in "E1" and in the illegal colony of Ma'ale Adumim.
The statement emphasized that this decision violates international law, undermines the two-state solution, and increases tensions across the region.
